Neuropathological changes after traumatic brain injury in male and female rats

Numerical data presenting neuropathological changes in the cortex after traumatic brain injury in male and female rats. The dataset includes: GFAP+ and Iba-1+ immunopositive area in perilesional and contralateral cortex, morphological parameters of astrocytes and microglia in perilesional cortex, number of neuropeptide Y- positive neurons, parvalbumin-positive neurons, and nNOS-positive neurons (neuronal NO synthase) in perilesional and contralateral cortex.
