This record contains the replication data, analysis code, machine-readable results, and figures for the manuscript “Urbanization, Household Consumption, and Economic Development in China: Dynamic Interactions and Threshold Effects.” The dataset is a balanced panel covering 31 provincial-level regions in mainland China from 2000 to 2025, comprising 806 province-year observations.The empirical analyses include panel vector autoregression, generalized impulse-response functions, generalized forecast-error variance decomposition, and fixed-effects panel threshold models with province-clustered inference. The archive contains the analysis dataset in CSV and Stata formats, a data dictionary, portable Stata and Python scripts, frozen estimation results, figures, licensing information, and SHA-256 checksums. The principal estimates cover 2000–2025, with 2005–2025 used as a robustness sample.The data were compiled primarily from the National Bureau of Statistics of China and supplemented, where necessary, by provincial statistical bulletins and population releases. Detailed information on variable construction, interpolation, software dependencies, reproduction steps, data provenance, and licensing is provided in the README files included in the archive.
