Patricia Bay pH Sensor Deployed 2013-03-25

The Satlantic SeaFET Ocean pH Sensor (SN 006) was deployed on 2013-03-25 at Patricia Bay. Patricia Bay is located in the Saanich Inlet, on the southern tip of Vancouver Island. This device is a pH Sensor. pH sensors measure the acidity, or alkalinity, of sea water by the concentration of hydrogen ions in the water column. It was deployed on a fixed platform. Data from this deployment were archived and made available through Ocean Networks Canada's Oceans 2.0 digital infrastructure, with quality assurance and derived data products following established practices.
