The GIS database used in this project serves as a centralized repository for all spatial datasets required for wildfire threat analysis and model training. It includes CAL FIRE’s Wildland Fire Threat layer, which provides pixel-based classifications of wildfire potential across California, as well as transportation infrastructure layers, including primary and secondary roads and railways.<br>To support impact analysis, 1,000-foot buffer zones were generated around each infrastructure feature to define zones of interest for wildfire segmentation. The database is structured for integration into both machine learning workflows and GIS environments, enabling seamless overlay, visualization, and spatial querying within platforms such as ArcGIS Pro or QGIS.
本项目所使用的地理信息系统(GIS, Geographic Information System)数据库作为集中式存储库,汇集了野火威胁分析与模型训练所需的全部空间数据集。该数据库包含加州消防局(CAL FIRE)的荒地火灾威胁图层,该图层可对加利福尼亚州全域的野火潜在风险开展基于像素的分类;同时涵盖交通基础设施图层,包括主次干道与铁路线路。 为支撑影响分析工作,研究人员为每一处基础设施要素生成了1000英尺的缓冲区,以此划定野火语义分割任务中的关注区域。该数据库的架构适配机器学习工作流与地理信息系统环境,可在ArcGIS Pro、QGIS等平台中实现无缝的图层叠加、可视化与空间查询操作。
