Non-Motorist Counter Data Viewer

The Cape Cod Commission has new automated counters, which use an infrared sensor to count the heat signature of non-motorist passing their location. These can be deployed in a location for a few days, weeks, or months at a time. They are typically used in a location where non-motorist traffic will be passing directly in front of them. The counters can differentiate the direction that a non-motorist passes from in front of the counter. These counters are used to provide valuable planning data to Towns on Cape Cod as well as to Massachusetts Department of Transportation and other organizations.
