Somerset County Sewer Service Areas

The dataset is a spatial representation of Sewer service areas in Somerset County, New Jersey. The Somerset County Planning Board, in its capacity as the designated Wastewater Management Planning Agency for Somerset County pursuant to N.J.A.C. 7:15-2.6 is responsible for developing, preparing, and periodically submitting an areawide wastewater management plan for Somerset County in accordance with the procedural and substantive requirements of N.J.A.C. 7:15, and for maintaining a current wastewater management plan including a record of all revisions and amendments adopted by the NJ Department of Environmental Protection. This dataset is necessary for producing the wastewater treatment plant capacity and nitrate dilution-based septic capacity analyses required as part of the County’s wastewater management plan pursuant to N.J.A.C. 7:15-4.5, as well as for preparing the required maps specified in N.J.A.C. 7:15-4.3 (c).
