Activity of Thymoquinone and antibiotics against Staphylococcus aureus

Introduction :It is required to research alternative methods of treatment to combat the problem of antimicrobial resistance in bacteria. Thymoquinone (TQ) is an active component of the Nigella sativa seeds, used for decades as traditional medicine. Objective: Determination of antibacterial activity of TQ in combination with antibiotics against Staphylococcus aureus grown from wound infection cases.引言：亟需研究替代治疗方案，以应对细菌抗菌药物耐药性难题。百里醌（Thymoquinone, TQ）是黑种草（Nigella sativa）种子的活性成分，该成分作为传统药物已有数十年应用历史。 研究目标：测定百里醌与抗生素联合使用时，对从伤口感染病例中分离得到的金黄色葡萄球菌（Staphylococcus aureus）的抗菌活性。
