The Dutch-Finnish OMI instrument launched on the Earth Observing System (EOS) Aura satellite in a polar Sun-synchronous orbit on July 15, 2004. OMI provides the most suitable data for HCHO mapping due to its daily global coverage, long data record, and high spatial resolution. Based on the OMI satellite formaldehyde observation data from 2005 to 2017, the global surface air concentration of HCHO was mapped through oversampling and other techniques
荷兰-芬兰OMI仪器于2004年7月15日搭载地球观测系统(EOS)Aura卫星,在极地太阳同步轨道上发射。OMI凭借其每日全球覆盖、长期数据记录和高度空间分辨率,为甲醛(HCHO)的测绘提供了最适宜的数据。基于2005年至2017年间OMI卫星对甲醛的正式观测数据,通过过采样等技术手段绘制了全球地表空气中甲醛的浓度分布图。
