The NSW Grazing Study

A scientific study to establish the impacts and benefits of stock grazing in National Parks. The study took place in selected River Red Gum, Black Box and Cypress pine reserves in the Riverina, Central West and Western NSW. \r\nA total of 451 sites were selected spanning an area of 0.4M km² to obtain detailed measures of ecology, biodiversity and grazing intensity. The aim of the study was to inform decisions about the future of Red gum and Cypress pine grazing permits and licences.

本项科学研究旨在厘清国家公园（National Parks）内牲畜放牧的影响与效益。研究实施于新南威尔士州（New South Wales，简称NSW）里弗赖纳、中西部及西部地区内选定的河滨红胶桉（River Red Gum）、黑桉（Black Box）与柏木（Cypress pine）保护区。
研究共选取451个样地，覆盖面积达40万平方千米（0.4M km²），以获取生态学、生物多样性及放牧强度的详细实测数据。本研究的核心目标是为河滨红胶桉与柏木放牧许可及执照的未来决策提供科学依据。
