We aim to explore the viscosity of anhydrous hydrous volcanic melts to constrain the impact of nanolite formation on magma transport under volcanic pressure conditions. We will use the falling sphere technique at the ID27 beamline combining a Paris–Edinburgh cell with X-ray radiography. Our results will also refine viscosity models, adding a crucial temporal dimension tied to nanolite formation.
