This dataset accompanies the journal paper entitled “One-Way Shear Design for Transverse Bar-Free Ultra-High-Performance Concrete Members” published by the ACI Structural Journal in 2026, DOI: 10.14359/51749307. This DesignSafe publication is intended to share a comprehensive experimental database of 137 UHPC beam shear tests that included fiber but no transverse-bar reinforcement. The experimental UHPC shear test database was curated using the following criteria: (1) All tests included fiber-reinforced UHPC beams with no transverse bars; (2) all tests were accompanied by sufficient tensile strength data for the UHPC matrix and complete information for the fiber dimensions; and (3) all tests included UHPC materials with tensile strengths above 3.4 MPa and compressive strengths above 117.5 MPa. The dataset includes structural test data and geometric properties for: (1) Nonprestressed and prestressed UHPC beams; (2) rectangular and I-shaped beam cross-sections. The accompanying database is organized into three Excel workbook sheets. The database was used to calibrate a shear design equation for UHPC beams as discussed in the above-referenced journal paper.
