Phylogenetic tree of OTUs from this study and the Living Tree Project. A phylogenetic tree in Newick format with tips for the 3,311 operational taxonomic units (OTUs) identified in the infant gut microbiome samples from this study identified using a USEARCH pipeline, and the 13,900 OTUs from the 132 release of the Living Tree Project. The topology of the tree reflects percent sequence similarity among taxa in the 16S rRNA V4 region, and was generated using agglomerative clustering of a distance matrix based on the U-sort heuristic.

本研究与生命树项目（Living Tree Project）涉及的操作分类单元（operational taxonomic units, OTUs）的系统发育树。该系统发育树采用Newick格式，其末梢节点对应本研究通过USEARCH分析流程在婴儿肠道微生物组样本中鉴定得到的3311个OTUs，以及生命树项目第132版中的13900个OTUs。该树的拓扑结构反映了各分类群在16S核糖体RNA V4区域的序列相似度百分比，并通过对基于U排序启发式方法构建的距离矩阵进行凝聚聚类生成。
