Data from the Cantabrian Mountains used in 'Mechanisms of community assembly explaining beta-diversity patterns across biogeographic regions'

Data from the Cantabrian Mountains used in 'Mechanisms of community assembly explaining beta-diversity patterns across biogeographic regions'. The data refer to location, floristic composition and environmental variables of several 0.1-ha forest plots.

There are four files:

Spain_plants.txt: it contains floristic data, one row per stem.

Spain_plots_general.csv: it contains date of survey, responsible people, coordinates and elevation.

Spain_plots.txt: it contains bioclimatic variables.

Spain_plots_soils_4_diciembre_2014.csv: it contains soil data. Only superficial soils within this file were used for the analyses in the publication.
