Processed behavioral tracking data for "Lifelong behavioral screen reveals an architecture of vertebrate aging"
Mapping the behavioral pattern of individual vertebrate animals across the lifespan is technologically highly challenging, but if achieved, could provide an unprecedented and unbiased view into fundamental processes underlying the progression of aging. Here we address this challenge by creating and applying the first platform for high-resolution continuous longitudinal recording and behavioral tracking of a vertebrate animal across its natural lifespan from adolescence to death—here, of the African turquoise killifish. Included here is the data at different stages of processing from 20hz keypoint tracking of individual animals on select days of life to whole lifespan behavioral syllable usage binned at 10 min resolution. Together these data identify both conserved and variable features of natural aging derived from a quantitative and unbiased perspective of organismal behavior over the course of adult life. Please see README_data file for detailed data file description and column headings etc.
