资源简介:
Tea Mosquito Bug (TMB), Helopeltis bardyi, is one of the main pest in tea and cacao plantation. Insecticides application to control TMB is the common practices in both crops. To meet the sustainability of both plantation, an alternative control urged to be developed based on Integrated Pest Management (IPM) concept. Insect olfactory based control strategies providing promising control aspect, which conventionally had been applied such as through pheromone trap, trap crop etc. However the detail mechanism of TMB olfactory system at molecular level still lacking, while interfering the TMB ability in detecting the environmental signal, is possible to be developed once the olfactory mechanism can be revealed. Therefore, identification on the genes involved in the TMB olfactory system through antennal transcriptome analysis is essential. Here our paired end raw sequenced read of trancriptome data from the pooled male and female adult antennae were presented in order to provide a solid base line in developing a novel olfaction based control strategies which support IPM strategies for TMB.
