El Hierro 2011-2012 Enhanched Seismic Catalogs

The datasets presented here consist of high-resolution seismic catalogs generated for the volcanic crisis of El Hierro (2011–2012), covering the pre-eruptive, syn-eruptive, and post-eruptive phases. Seismic events were detected using template matching techniques, significantly enhancing the detection of low-magnitude seismicity compared to conventional catalogs. Hypocentral locations were subsequently computed using the Hypoellipse algorithm, based on P- and S-wave arrival times recorded by the local seismic network. Each event entry includes an identifier, origin time, geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude), depth, and phase picks per station, providing a consistent and detailed dataset suitable for analyzing the spatiotemporal evolution of seismicity and magma migration throughout the entire eruptive sequence.
本次展示的数据集为针对2011至2012年耶罗岛(El Hierro)火山危机构建的高分辨率地震目录,涵盖火山喷发前、喷发中和喷发后三个阶段。本次研究采用模板匹配技术识别地震事件,相较于传统地震目录,该方法可显著提升低震级地震的检出率。随后基于本地地震台网记录的P波、S波初至时间,采用Hypoellipse算法计算震源位置。每条地震事件条目均包含事件标识、发震时刻、地理坐标(纬度与经度)、震源深度以及各台站的震相到时数据,可形成一套标准化且细节丰富的数据集,适用于分析整个火山喷发序列中地震活动与岩浆运移的时空演化特征。
