This data depicts the fishing zones used to manage marine life entanglement risk under the Risk Assessment and Mitigation Program (RAMP). The RAMP Fishing Zones are defined in the California Code of Regulation's Section 132.8(a)(7) of Title 14 and were codified in regulation on November 1, 2020. As of October 2025, the RAMP zones were updated to only include zones 1-5.
