Sequencing of an Escherichia coli strain isolated from a pyelonephritis patient. AL505

E. coli strain AL505 was isolated in 80's from a pyelonephritis patient. This strain was used to setup a murine gut colonization model (in absence of antibiotics) mimicking the carriage stage of uropathogenic E. coli strains to evaluate the efficacy of decolonization stratégies.
