Statistical analyses ran on the life history traits data obtained for P. d. dilatatus injected by wVulC (pure and diluted inoculum), wDil and control treatment.

The gain of weight and mobility were compared between treatments at 60 days post-injection with a Gaussian linear mixed-effects model with randomized block effect fitted by maximum likelihood (ML). For comparison of the P. d. dilatatus location in boxes between treatments through the whole experiment, a generalized linear model with binomial error and logit link function was performed. Survival curves were compared using a general mixed-effects Cox model with randomized block effect as for A. vulgare.于注射后60天，采用以最大似然法（maximum likelihood, ML）拟合的带随机区组效应的高斯线性混合效应模型，对各处理组的体重增长与运动能力进行对比分析。为比较整个实验周期内各处理组间P. d. dilatatus在饲养箱内的分布位置，采用具有二项误差分布与logit连接函数的广义线性模型开展统计分析。针对A. vulgare的生存曲线比较，则采用带有随机区组效应的混合效应Cox模型进行分析。
