Crocodile longtom (Tylosurus crocodilus) is found in the Indo-West Pacific, including Red Sea and South Africa and Persian Gulf to French Polynesia, Japan, Western Australia, Timor Sea, to the Gold Coast, southern Queensland; also Cocos (Keeling) Islands and Christmas Island in the eastern Indian Ocean. This assembly was produced by Ocean Genomes. This assembly is based on PacBio HiFi long reads, Dovetail Omni-C libraries and Illumina short reads. Data was generated at the Minderoo OceanOmics Centre at the University of Western Australia and assembled in house using a custom pipeline (https://github.com/MinderooFoundation) that follows Vertebrate Genomes Project workflows (https://vertebrategenomesproject.org/).
