Analysis of engineering education interventions using the Framework for Identifying the Embedding of TheorieS (FIETS)

The dataset was obtained in a qualitative content analysis of papers of engineering education interventions in their use of educational theories in abstract, background, intervention design and intervention analysis. It was used to validate the Framework for Identifying the Embedding of TheorieS (FIETS) and demonstrate its usefulness for analysing the theoretical embedding of a given body of literature on educational interventions.

本数据集通过针对工程教育干预类论文开展的定性内容分析获取，分析覆盖这些论文在摘要、研究背景、干预设计与干预分析部分对教育理论的应用情况。该数据集被用于验证理论嵌入识别框架（Framework for Identifying the Embedding of TheorieS, FIETS）的有效性，并展示该框架在分析特定教育干预相关文献群体的理论嵌入情况时的实用价值。
