The cytopharyngeal ribbons of microtubules tend to curve into a ‚ÄúC‚Äù shape away from the cytopharynx but they still remain connected as a ribbon and are heavily labeled by immunogold when exposed to anti-b-tubulin. 胞咽微管带（cytopharyngeal ribbons of microtubules）倾向于向远离胞咽（cytopharynx）的方向弯曲成"C"形，但仍以带状结构相连；经抗β微管蛋白（anti-β-tubulin）处理后，该结构可被免疫金（immunogold）大量标记。该透射电子显微镜（Transmission Electron Microscopy, TEM）图像由R. Allen于1994年2月27日拍摄，采用Zeiss 10A型电镜，加速电压为80kV，放大倍数为9780倍，标尺长度为0.5µm。
