资源简介:
This study aims to systematically evaluate the therapeutic efficacy of pelvic magnetic stimulation combined with rehabilitation training in treating female vaginal laxity (VL), with the goal of improving clinical symptoms and exploring innovative treatment approaches. Methods: A total of 147 patients diagnosed with vaginal laxity at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Qinghai Red Cross Hospital—either during outpatient visits or hospitalization—from May 2025 to December 2026 and meeting the inclusion criteria were enrolled. After providing informed consent, all participants were randomly assigned using a random number table into two groups: the control group (n = 73) receiving Kegel exercises alone, and the study group (n = 74) receiving the combined intervention. Both groups underwent an 8-week treatment regimen, with a treatment log established for each participant. Assessments were conducted at three predefined time points, evaluating the following eight outcome measures: vaginal laxity questionnaire, female sexual function, degree of vaginal laxity, vaginal health index score(VHIS), pelvic floor type I and type II muscle fibers, surface electromyography (sEMG) of the pelvic floor muscles, three-dimensional ultrasound parameters, and mean vaginal pressure. Results: No statistically significant differences were observed between pre- and post-intervention measurements in the study group for the following parameters: VHI score, sEMG during the post-intervention resting phase, resting-state bladder neck position on ultrasound, and urethral gap assessment. However, for all other evaluated indicators, the study group demonstrated significantly greater improvement compared to the control group, with statistically significant differences before and after intervention. Conclusion: Combined therapy achieves superior therapeutic outcomes in the treatment of female vaginal laxity compared to Kegel exercises alone.
