NRS-18130 | Minutes [Academic Structure Committee - Newcastle College of Advanced Education]

The Academic Structures Committee was probably established by the Academic Board (to which it reported) in early 1977, at which time the academic structure of the College was under review. The earliest meeting of the Committee from which minutes survive was that held on the 15th March 1978, but at least one earlier meeting had been held, the minutes of which are referred to at the meeting of the 15th March. The last recorded meeting of the Committee was held on the 4th August 1988.The single volume of the original minutes which currently represents this series covers the period from March 1978 until October 1979, although duplicate copies of Minutes from October 1986 until August 1988 may also be found in the Committees Agenda and Business Papers (NRS 18131).
