资源简介:
Dromedary camels (Camelus dromedarius) are widely distributed in Africa, the Middle East and northern India. They are commonly used for meat and milk production, transportation, and racing. It has been reported that camels harbor several pathogens such as Anaplasma and Trypanosomes and as yet uncharacterized microorganisms. The present study was designed to reveal prokaryotic and eukaryotic microbiome in the camel blood. For prokaryotic microbiome analysis V3-4 region of the 16S rDNA was amplified using universal primers. Eukaryotic microbiome analysis amplified V4 region of the 18S rDNA using the primers specific for non-metazoan organisms. The resulting PCR products were subjected to high-throughput sequencing on a MiSeq.
