Profiling Endothelial Cells from Heart Regions and Liver Subpopulations

Bulk RNA sequencing was performed to investigate gene expression differences among endothelial cells isolated from distinct regions of the mouse heart and tdTomato-positive and -negative endothelial populations in the liver. Heart endothelial cells were collected from adult male wild-type C57BL/6 mice (10 weeks old), while liver endothelial cells were isolated from Ki67-CrexER, Cdh5-DreER, and R26-RL-tdT mice treated with tamoxifen at 8 weeks and collected at 10 weeks. Endothelial cells were isolated by flow cytometry, total RNA was extracted, and mRNA libraries were constructed. Sequencing was performed on the MGISEQ-2000RS platform. This dataset provides a resource for studying regional transcriptomic heterogeneity in cardiac endothelial cells and transcriptional differences in liver endothelial subpopulations. RNA-seq was performed on wild-type cardiac endothelial cells from the apex, LV, VS, and OZ, and on tdTomato⁺/⁻ liver endothelial cells from Ki67-CrexER; Cdh5-DreER; R26-RL-tdT mice.
