European Forest Data Centre is the core database of the EU Forest Information System, providing a large volume of datasets and information related to European forests. Maintained by the Joint Research Centre (JRC) of the European Commission, this database supports policy research on EU bioeconomy, biodiversity and forest strategies. It contains 650,000 geospatially referenced records on forest insect and disease disturbances in Europe, with contributions from 30 European research institutions.
