Microcosm based exploration of contaminated groundwater microbial diversity

This study broadly aims to assess the diversity of microorganisms enriched with response to the introduction of electron acceptors and a constant carbon source in As enriched groundwater from an arsenic hotspot in West Bengal, India. Here, the enrichment study was further coupled with high-throughput amplicon sequencing to achieve greater sequencing depth. Also, to get a better idea of community members active and likely to respond to various environmental or nutritional stimuli.
