This dataset provides a semantic optical communication system and method for text transmission. The system comprises the following modules:
1. Text Conversion Module: Receives the text to be transmitted, conducts word segmentation to obtain text words, matches the relative positions of these text words in the vocabulary, and converts them into initial word vectors.
2. Coding Module: Receives the initial word vectors, performs dimensionality reduction on them to get reduced-dimensional word vectors, and encodes the reduced-dimensional word vectors to generate encoded strings.
3. Optical Transmission Module: Includes a Transmitting Terminal Module, an Optical Link Module and a Receiving Terminal Module. The Transmitting Terminal Module receives the encoded strings and converts them into optical signals; the Optical Link Module receives these optical signals and transmits them to the Receiving Terminal Module; the Receiving Terminal Module restores the optical signals back into the encoded strings.
4. Decoding Module: Decodes the encoded strings to obtain the reduced-dimensional word vectors, and restores them into the initial word vectors.
5. Text Acquisition Module: Receives the initial word vectors, matches the corresponding text words in the vocabulary, and combines these text words to obtain the complete text information.
The data volume of this dataset is 908 KB.
