Antibiotic disturbance affects aquatic microbial community composition and phenotypic distribution but not diversity and stability

Here we investigated plasticity and resistance/resilience of a freshwater community challenged by different levels of press disturbance (low-dose tetracycline), toward a pulse-disturbance event like the addition of allochthonous bacteria (E. coli) in a continuous culture system. We aimed to analyse the phenotypic plasticity and changes of community composition to both disturbances.
