Omega-3 PUFAS modulate gut microbiota to alleviate T1DM

This project contains16s rRNA sequencing of feces and widely targeted metabolomics analysis of serum, transcriptomic data of pancreatic islet cells isolated from NOD mice following fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) from Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs)-treated donor mice. The objective of this study is to investigate how gut microbiota altered by Omega-3 PUFAs supplementation modulates pancreatic islet gene expression and potentially alleviates islet inflammation in type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM).
