The usage of insecticides in agriculture in Odisha, India: An assessment of exposure, health outcomes and the use, and effectiveness of practices and equipment to mitigate exposure

The dataset was collected to examine insecticide usage and related health impacts among farmers and agricultural laborers in a rice-farming community in India. It includes quantitative data gathered through structured questionnaires, covering demographic information, pesticide application practices, personal protective equipment (PPE) usage, health outcomes, and environmental factors. Additional data on participants' knowledge, perceptions of insecticide safety, and usage practices were collected to assess relationships between safety measures and health impacts.
