The raster-based, color-infrared composite was derived
from Landsat Thematic Mapper imagery data acquired during
June 1989 for the Sarcobatus Flat area of the Death Valley
regional flow system. The image is a single-channel,
parallelepiped classification that when displayed using a
256-color color table shows a simulation of a color-infrared
composite. The data set was used in determining phreatophyte
boundaries for a ground-water evapotranspiration study.
本数据集为栅格格式的彩色红外合成影像,其数据源为1989年6月获取的、覆盖死亡谷区域水流系统萨科巴图斯平原(Sarcobatus Flat)区域的陆地卫星专题制图仪(Landsat Thematic Mapper)影像数据。该影像是经平行六面体分类法处理的单波段分类影像,采用256色色彩表进行显示时,可呈现出彩色红外合成影像的模拟效果。本数据集曾用于地下水蒸散发研究中潜生植物(phreatophyte)分布边界的确定工作。
