Kootenay Lake (Station 2)

As part of Friends of Kootenay Lake’s commitment to the fish and wildlife habitat of Kootenay Lake, a three year water quality monitoring program was initiated. The near-shore program was conducted by trained volunteers all over Kootenay Lake, and monitoring water clarity and temperature of Kootenay Lake according to guidelines provided by the British Columbia Lake Stewardship Society’s (BCLSS) Lake Sampling Program (BCLSMP).

作为库特奈湖之友（Friends of Kootenay Lake）致力于保护库特奈湖鱼类与野生生物栖息地的专项举措之一，一项为期三年的水质监测项目正式启动。该近岸监测项目由经过专业培训的志愿者在库特奈湖全域开展，严格遵循不列颠哥伦比亚湖管理协会（British Columbia Lake Stewardship Society，缩写BCLSS）的湖泊采样项目（Lake Sampling Program，缩写BCLSMP）所提供的监测指南，对库特奈湖的水体透明度与水温进行监测。
