Histograms that show promoter methylation in miRNA target genes and miRNA non-target genes for each of 270 cell lines. Black (red) corresponds to promoter methylation in miRNA target (non-target) genes. For all histograms, in the lowest bins, methylation in promoters of miRNA target genes is larger than that in non-target genes, while methylation in promoters of miRNA target genes is less than that in non-target genes in other bins.
