Tumor adaptation or selection is thought to underlie therapy resistance in glioma. To investigate longitudinal epigenetic evolution of gliomas in response to therapeutic pressure, we performed an epigenomic analysis of matched initial and recurrent tumors. In this dataset, we use ChIP-seq to profile H3K27ac and H3K4me3. There are seventeen fresh-frozen GCIMP tumor samples. Of these, nine are primary GCIMP-high samples, four are primary GCIMP-low samples, and three are recurrent GCIMP-low samples. These tissues were collected from the Hermelin Brain Tumor Center (HBTC) tumor bank at Henry Ford Hospital (HFH) and have extensive clinical follow-up. These samples were selected based on data availability of related molecular panels (e.g., RNA-sequencing), high tumor purity evaluated by neuropathologists, and sufficient amount of tissue. ChIP-seq data was generated using single-end sequenced with read lengths of 75 bp each and an average coverage of 100x.
