In our study, we characterized the temporal changes in the gut bacterial communities of Mironasutitermes shangchengensis under different diet disturbances (wood, corn stalks and filters) using 16S rDNA pyrosequencing. We observed an unexpectedly strong resilience of microbial communities during the continuously feeding with both corn stalks and filters.
