Alternative splicing was found to be differentialy regulated between the different medulloblastoma subgroups notably microexons (exonx <= 27bp). QKI and PTBP1 are RNA binding proteins found in more"stem like" medulloblastoma subtypes and SRRM4 in more differentiated subtypes which have better prognosis. We knockdown those 3 RBPs (QKI,PTBP1 and SRRM4) and overexpress SRRM4 in a SHH medulloblastoma cell line (ONS76)
