Jason 2 Still Camera Deployed 2016-06-13

The Insite SuperScorpio (Sony HDR-CX560V) on Jason 2 ROV was deployed on 2016-06-13 on Jason 2. This Remotely Operated Vehicle is operated by Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI). This device is a Still Camera. Underwater still cameras are mainly used for high resolution imaging on Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV) during maintenance expeditions. It was deployed on a mobile platform. Data from this deployment were archived and made available through Ocean Networks Canada's Oceans 2.0 digital infrastructure, with quality assurance and derived data products following established practices.
