Monthly cross-shore transects of biogeochemical properties in La Jolla, CA

These data result from monthly cross-shore transects of biogeochemical properties in La Jolla, CA. In this study, discrete seawater samples were collected between 0-40m on a monthly transect extending from the coastline to ~2km offshore in La Jolla, CA. Seawater samples were collected for analysis of dissolved inorganic carbon chemistry parameters and dissolved inorganic nutrient concentrations. The study was designed to characterize the biogeochemical near-shore spatiotemporal variability in the Southern California Bight, and in particular, the influence of seasonal upwelling.本数据集源自美国加利福尼亚州拉霍亚（La Jolla）海域每月开展的跨岸断面生物地球化学性质观测。本研究在该海域从海岸线延伸至离岸约2公里的月度跨岸断面上，采集了0至40米水深范围内的离散海水样本。采集所得海水样本用于分析溶解无机碳化学参数与溶解无机营养盐浓度。本研究旨在表征南加州湾（Southern California Bight）近岸海域的生物地球化学时空变异性，尤其聚焦于季节性上升流的影响。
