NRS-28 | Histories of girls and boys unattached and for whom forms have not been prepared

This volume is an alphabetical register of Aboriginal children who were not wards and therefore not included in the Ward Registers. The children listed here lived independently of the Board for the Protection of Aborigines, or were placed in institutions such as industrial schools or psychiatric hospitals. Most of the entries are for marriages, and list the names of the partners and the date of the marriage. More details are given if the person was committed to an institution.The series contains some items of correspondence relating to the situations of individual Aboriginal children.
