Supplementary Material for: Flank Pain as a First Symptom of a Diffuse Midline Glioma

Diffuse midline gliomas are a new entity in the WHO Classification of Tumors of the Central Nervous System, corresponding to grade 4 gliomas. The diagnostic pathognomonic feature is the presence of a H3K27M mutation. Although mainly seen in children, cases in adults have also been reported. The symptoms are highly variable and usually dependent on the location and extent of spinal cord compression.弥漫性中线胶质瘤（Diffuse midline gliomas）属于世界卫生组织中枢神经系统肿瘤分类（WHO Classification of Tumors of the Central Nervous System）中的新增分类实体，对应Ⅳ级胶质瘤。其特异性诊断标志为存在H3K27M突变（H3K27M mutation）。尽管该肿瘤主要好发于儿童群体，但亦有成人发病病例的相关报道。患者临床症状差异显著，通常取决于脊髓受压的部位与程度。
