To elucidate the mechanism by which Cadict and Cu-Cys exert cytotoxic effects on colorectal cancer cells, we performed transcriptome analysis using RNA-seq to investigate the signaling pathways affected by Cadict and Cu-Cys. Overall design: Total RNAs from MC38 cells were extracted with TRIzol reagent and sequenced on the Illumina Novaseq 6000 sequencing instrument (BGI, China). There were three experimental groups (CTL vs Cu-Cys vs Cadict) with 3 replicates for each.
