Dataset for: Validation Study of the 10-item Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC-10) Among Mexican Medical and Psychology Students

This dataset contains the complete anonymized data supporting the psychometric validation study of the Mexican Spanish version of the 10-item Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC-10).Sample:

A total of 330 university students from northeastern Mexico participated:- Medical students: n = 174 (82 men, 92 women) from a private university- Psychology students: n = 156 (36 men, 120 women) from a public university- Mean age: 20.20 years (SD = 2.33; range: 17–36)

Variables

The dataset includes:- CD-RISC-10: 10 items measuring resilience (0 = Never, 5 = Always). Higher total scores indicate higher resilience.- Subjective Happiness Scale (SHS): 4 items measuring happiness.- Perceived Stress Scale (PSS-14): 14 items measuring perceived stress (0–4 scale).- Demographic variables: Age, sex, and academic program (medicine/psychology).

All identifying information has been removed to ensure participant anonymity.
