In this study, we conduct an extensive investigation exploring ecologically significant aspects of the atmospheric microbiome. This involves examining the presence of potential pathogens and functional characteristics associated with pathogenicity and antimicrobial resistance. Our methodology relies on metagenomic approaches to understand the impact of essential environmental factors, specifically, origin of dust, particulate matter concentration and temperature. These factors are fundamental in comprehending the potential ecological implications of intensifying climate change, both locally and globally.
