Next Generation Sequencing of sorted central memory CD4 T cells (TCM) from young and elderly severe SARS-CoV-2 patients

Purpose: The goal of this study is to compare the transcriptome profiling (RNA-seq) of central memory CD4 T cells among young and elderly samples from healthy donors and SARS-CoV-2 subjects. Overall design: We enrolled 3 young (CUN) and 3 elderly (COV) Sars-CoV-2 patients with a median age of 46 ± 6.6 and 72.3 ± 3.2 years and were matched with 3 young (HUN) and 3 elderly (HOV) healthy donors with a median age of 50.7 ± 4.9 and 75 ± 6.4 years.
