PRISMA Diagram, Data Extraction Tables, and Risk of Bias Assessments: Pink Teeth Systematic Review

This dataset contains supplementary materials supporting the article “A Systematic Review of the Postmortem Pink Teeth Phenomenon: Perspectives from Forensic Photography, Radiology, and Histopathology.” The systematic review, registered in PROSPERO (CRD420251083393) and conducted according to PRISMA 2020 guidelines, examined the forensic significance of the postmortem pink teeth phenomenon through photography, radiology, and histopathology.The dataset includes the PRISMA 2020 flow diagram, data extraction tables summarizing methodological characteristics and findings from 15 eligible studies, and risk of bias assessments performed using the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) checklist. These supplementary materials provide transparency, enable replication, and facilitate further analysis of how hemolyzed hemoglobin infiltration, environmental conditions, and forensic methods contribute to the discoloration of teeth after death.By making these materials openly accessible, the dataset enhances reproducibility, supports interdisciplinary research in forensic odontology, and strengthens the scientific basis for interpreting pink teeth as a supplementary indicator in medicolegal death investigations.
