Anonymized Dataset for the Validation of the Performance Failure Appraisal Inventory (PFAI) Among Medical Students

This dataset contains fully anonymized participant-level data used to examine the psychometric properties of the Performance Failure Appraisal Inventory (PFAI) and its associations with perceived stress and procrastination among undergraduate medical students. The file includes demographic variables, item-level responses for the PFAI-25, total and subscale scores, and scores from the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS-10) and the General Procrastination Scale (GPS-9). All personal identifiers were removed prior to deposition. The dataset supports the analyses presented in the associated manuscript, including exploratory factor analysis, reliability testing, correlation analyses, nonparametric group comparisons, and regression modeling.
