Listening to Canadians, Wave 8, Winter 2001 Part 2

\"Listening to Canadians\" is a public opinion survey, which was conducted three times a year. These surveys measure Canadians' views on public policy priorities and their assessment of how the Government of Canada serves Canadians in responding to those priorities. The surveys were conducted by Communications Canada. The questions ask opinions on Governemnt of Canada priorities, the internet, access to Government information and the ability to access Government services. The respondents were also asked questions so that they could be grouped according to geographic and social variables. Topics of interest include: economics; rating the Federal Government in its qualitites; the future of Canada; contact with Government; issues the Government should be focusing on; Government programs; Internet use; priorities for the Federal Government; second priorities for the Federal Government; rating the provincial governments qualitites; social and ecnomoic growth. Basic demographic variables are also included.

“倾听加拿大人（Listening to Canadians）”是一项每年开展三次的民意调查项目。该调查旨在采集加拿大人对公共政策优先事项的观点，以及他们对加拿大联邦政府落实这些优先事项的履职表现评价。此项调查由加拿大传播局（Communications Canada）执行。调查问卷内容涵盖加拿大人对加拿大联邦政府优先事项、互联网、政府信息获取渠道以及公共服务可及性的看法。调查同时向受访者设置相关问题，以便根据地理与社会变量对受访者进行分组归类。调研覆盖的核心议题包括：经济发展、加拿大联邦政府履职质量评级、加拿大国家未来展望、与政府的沟通互动、政府应重点推进的议题、政府相关计划、互联网使用情况、联邦政府优先事项、联邦政府次优先事项、省级政府履职质量评级、社会与经济增长。此外，调查还纳入了基础人口统计变量。
