Developed by expert astronomers, this dataset is intended for the automated detection and localization of multi-component extended radio galaxies and their corresponding infrared host galaxies. The dataset contains 4,155 galaxy instances across 2,800 images, spanning both radio and infrared imaging modalities. Each instance includes the category label of the extended radio galaxy, bounding boxes encompassing all its components, pixel-level segmentation masks, as well as the positional information of its corresponding infrared host galaxy.
